Help Desk

Admission committee will put help desk in the college to facilitate students for online admission. 

Date : June 10 to June 17 (Saturday and  Sunday not included).

All students desiring admission in the college must apply for admission through the University of Delhi admission form (available either online at www.du.ac.in or offline at designated centers.) No student can be considered for admission if she has not filled the University admission form.

College Application Process

The students are admitted to the various courses on the basis of Cut-Off percentage for the respective session (announced as per the schedule of the University). Admission is given on the basis of class XII result marks in all courses except for B. El. Ed and B. Ed.

Common Entrance Test for B.El.Ed and B.Ed. Courses is conducted by the Central Institute of Education (CIE), Delhi University. Shortlisted candidates are called for interviews at CIE. Candidates who pass through the interview are given admission in the college according to their preference.

The detailed information for various courses is available in the college prospectus which can be obtained from the college office against a payment of Rs. 100/-. The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.

Aspiring students should follow the guidelines given below:

  1. Candidates who qualify according to the cut off percentage of the college should report to the Admission committee between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm with the required documents. Get the admission form along with the college prospectus from college office.
  2. At the time of admission to the college, the student would be required to fill the Admission form as well as the University enrolment form and submit the same at the specified counters. The student’s documents will be verified thereafter after which the student will be required to pay the admission fee.
  3. The candidate will deposit fees with the Indian Overseas Bank which is located adjacent to the college building. Admission is finalized only on payment of fees. It should be done within the time mentioned in the college admission list notification.
  4. For admission under the reserved categories of J & K Migrants or children of war widows the admission process shall be centralized and conducted at the university level by the office of Dean, Students Welfare and the special cell.
  5. For admission under the Sports and ECA (Extra Curricular activities) categories, the students are required to fill the sports/ECA application forms which shall be made available by the college.

The college follows the rules and regulations stipulated by Government/University with regard to the admission of the SC, ST, OBC, differently-abled candidates, wards of defense personnel, war widows, Kashmiri migrants and foreign nationals. Reservation for different sections of society such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes is made as per the rules of the government.

In order to facilitate the smooth admission of reserved category students coming from different states and backgrounds, an Admission Help Desk is set up during the admission phase.
