The college strives to provide the best possible information and technology infrastructure to its students, faculty and staff. This is in line with the college’s vision to impart learning in an innovative and future-oriented atmosphere. The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled and an e-resource web portal is available to support teaching practices.

The college had started out with a few Intel 8086/286 processors based on DOS environment without any LAN! In a span of years, successful institutional planning has resulted in tangible progress. The college boasts of a Computer Center equipped with servers, printers, desktops machines, laptops, LCD Projectors, and Scanners of the latest configurations.

Some of the key infrastructure features are listed below:

• The College has an above-par computer-student ratio of 1:2 (1207/3000). Every system is connected by network through LAN or Wi-Fi. Students and faculty members have been provided Wi-Fi authenticated user ID and password for internet access through their devices. The college possess valid license for all the software which the college requires for its laboratory and office usages.  

• Information and Communication Technology enabled teaching is an important part of college our academic culture. Thirty class rooms have installed LCD projectors and teachers are encouraged to use these assets during their day-to-day teaching. Select topics from the syllabus are also taught with the help of Power-point presentations.

• The college library is also computerized. Three computer systems are installed for OPAC to provide easy and quick search options when seeking a specific volume. 

• The Information Center is equipped with twenty-five computers having internet access provided by Delhi University. Nine systems are individually installed for the staff to access library services through computerized database. Two scanners are installed for scanning any documents and photographs for linkage with library members’ database. Network printers are installed to fulfil printing requirements for all computers installed in library.

Some other features:

• Out of the 1060 Laptops that the college possess 1030 have been provided to the students and 30 to the faculty members. On campus, the college makes available 192 Desktop Computers and 30 Laptops available in various departments.
• Every department is part of centralized LAN besides having their own departmental network.
• The college is part of NKN’s fiber optic Gigabit Network through University of Delhi with present internet speed of 40 Mbps scalable to Gbps.
• The college is also running automated operations. The college invites new ICT equipment for purchase in every financial year and then a proposal is sent to Government of NCT of Delhi for seeking grants and approval for purchase.  
• From time to time, the college upgrades the common IT infrastructure facilities as well as ICT infrastructure in the department as per the need of curriculum.
• The college is planning to establish a multi-facility centre with funding from UGC. 
• The college avails the National Knowledge Network Connectivity through the parent University. There are various services that are being availed using NKN backbone, namely:

  2. College Local Area Network (LAN)
  3. Access to Scholarly Content of UGC
  4. Info net Digital Library Consortium
  5. Local Resources Sharing Services of Delhi University Library System
  6. Video Conferencing and Virtual class room activities through the University developed application called Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
