Library plays a significant role as a learning resource center for the faculty and students. Our Library is fully computerized with the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) form for easy and quick access to all resources. Students and teachers can check the availability of books and journals in the library from various terminals and get them for issue, reference or photocopy.
The library has a rich collection of textbooks and reference books, which includes encyclopedias, yearbooks, dictionaries, atlases, general knowledge books, general reading books, biographies, autobiographies and latest fiction in English and Hindi languages. Our collection includes nearly 86,363 books, 52 Periodicals having 14 journals and 38 magazines. Subscribing to 10 daily newspapers in English and Hindi, and electronic resources, e-journals, e-books including online databases through UGC INFONET, N-LIST, DU e-library, CDs and DVDs. A book bank that runs with the help of grants from International Punjabi Society helps the students from economically weaker sections. Library has collection of 193 Braille Books and 1066 audio books collection is also available in the library. Library has procured KIBO device for visually challenged students. KIBO device has provision to convert documents in audio and pdf files in number of Indian and foreign languages.
The information Centre in the library has 22 computers with internet facility for the students to do their assignments and research work. Library premises and information Centre are Wi-Fi enabled zone for all users. Recorders and Laptops with special software are available for the differently abled students. Every year a Book Exhibition is organized in the college premises by the library for faculty and students.
