Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women established an active NCC unit under the 7 Delhi Girls Battalion (7 DGBN) in the year 1969, with the basic aim of developing the character qualities in the female cadets to make them responsible citizens of society and leaders of the future in every walk of life. Cadets in SPMC believe in coming forward and stepping towards a perfect personality. NCC in our college, since its conception has achieved great heights. Being a part of NCC in the college gives cadets early exposure to the Indian armed forces.
