Northeast-Ladakh-Tibet Cell of SPM College is a community built on the shared dreams and ambitions of faculty and students from the Northeast region of India and members from Ladakh and Tibet. Though amorphous at first glance, this cell is a carefully crafted and well-intended society to uphold the welfare of the faculty and students from these regions. Considering the cultural challenges faced by the members from these regions in metropolitan cities like Delhi, the cell attempts to create a safe and fertile space to grow in all spheres of life-mostly focusing on academics, mental health, socio-culture, and even politics. Such a holistic approach to life and learning lays the foundation of the cell. The development of the students' minds is the key to the committee, and therefore, many activities and events are organized by the cell to educate and inform the young minds. Even though this cell might have formed on the lines of immigration and cultural ‘difference,’ there is a conscious attempt to assimilate and adapt to the diverse culture in Delhi and India.
