Education

Basic Details:

The Department of Education was established in 1977 with the introduction of Education course within the BA Programme. It subsequently expanded to offer the professional degree programme Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) in 1996. Since then, the department has grown to offer two more teacher education programmes, viz. Bachelor of Education and BA BEd Secondary (Integrated Teacher Education Programme). With this, we are able to prepare teachers from Elementary to Senior Secondary level.
