Viksit Bharat @2047 represents the government of India's ambitious vision to transform the nation into a developed entity by the centenary of its independence in 2047. Encompassing diverse facets of development such as economic prosperity, social advancement, environmental sustainability, and effective governance. This vision underscores the critical juncture at which India currently stands. Realizing this vision demands unwavering dedication, a firm belief in India's destiny and a profound recognition of the vast potential talent and capabilities of its people, particularly the youth. With the largest demographic share, the youth are positioned as the vanguard in leading India towards recessive Bharat by 2047. In response to the nation's call, the Prime Minister has extended an invitation for the youth to actively engage in a transformative agenda through a youth movement called “Ideas from Youth for Viksit Bharat @2047”. 

As per the Action Plan for the Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth, developed by the University, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College for Women has developed a road map to ensure the maximum participation and positive impact of this initiative. Following are the initiatives taken by the college as per the roadmap:

1. A committee for “Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Voice of Youth” has been constituted comprising following members - Prof. Sadhna Sharma (Principal), Prof. Shubha Sinha (Convenor, IQAC), Dr. Raj Kumar Falwaria (Nodal Officer), Dr. Anita Kumari (Dept. of  History), Dr. Prabha Rana (Dept. of Commerce), Dr Supriya Sinha (Dept. of History), and Dr. Manish Kumar Singh (Dept. of Computer Science).

2. A student committee is created comprising representatives from NSS, NCC, Committee members, Student council, and every classes.

3. Departmental in-charges have been asked to design their activities in conjunction with the concept of the Viksit Bharat campaign and propose at least one activity accordingly. It will be organized on Wednesday during the activity period.
