Statement of the Policy
The objective of policy is to bring effective and efficient participative management through e-governance in the domain of administration, accounts, admission and examination thereby bringing accountability and transparency in the administration. It also aims to strengthen the existing physical governance infrastructure through seamless sharing of information amongst all the stakeholders. The policies and measures that the institution has initiated towards e-governance are as follows:
Administration
- The institution has adequate IT facilities to support e-administration. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The administration is partially automated.
- All the software used for the management of finance and accounts, student data management is inhouse.
- All the official communication and notices are communicated electronically with all the stakeholders. The same are updated on the institutional website.
- The institutional website is redesigned and updated to make it more user friendly. The website is managed and maintained by the College Website Committee.
- Student-administration as well as teacher-administration interface are digitalized and managed with inhouse software.
- For seamless access to information with respect to classes and events, faculty and program-wise timetable as well as information about events are uploaded on the institutional website. The college also provides G-Suite platforms to all the faculty for the smooth transition from offline to online and vice versa.
- For accessibility to uninterrupted internet, the college has taken Jio Internet service besides the internet facility provided by Delhi University. Presently the college is having an internet speed of 250 Mbps.
- The library is fully automated and uses ILMS software and Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).
Finance and Accounts
- All the software used for the management of the student-teachers database, financial database, office networking and communication is inhouse source.
- All the financial transactions including fee payment, salary, remuneration, purchases and other transactions are made digitally through the National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) under the digital repository of financial account.
- All the purchases and tenders for the management of physical and academic infrastructure are fully automated and routed through GeM following the GFR 2017 and its amendments.
Admission
- All the admissions in different programs are carried out online through the Centralised Admission Portal managed by the University of Delhi.
- Students’ grievances and queries are received online.
- Updated information on admission is digitally updated on the institutional website and also electronically communicated to the students.
- Survey and management of elective courses, registration for participating in events, feedback on teaching learning processes, complains, are fully automated.
Examination
- All the examination processes, including submission of exam form, generation of hall tickets, declaration of examination results, internal assessment result, attendance, etc. are fully automated.
- Internal Assessment data of the students is fully digitized.
- During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Online Examination and Evaluation are conducted through a dedicated portal managed by the University of Delhi.
- All the examination related grievances are received online.
